An exciting fresh voice in the world of music, iDA HAWK brings a magnetic energy to every song she writes and every stage she’s on, catching the attention of many collaborators, most notably Antibalas (Daptone Records) and electronic producers Big Wild and GRiZ.

 

She has appeared as a guest performer with GRiZ, singing their cowrites at sold out venues across North America including Terminal 5, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Navy Pier, The Ryman Auditorium and major festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, & Electric Forest. Television appearances include NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly.

iDA co-wrote and is featured on Big Wild's "Invincible", released by Odesza’s Foreign Family Collective and premiered by Billboard Magazine. The two have performed together at Rough Trade Brooklyn, Mercury Lounge and Camp Bisco Music Festival.

A local to NYC, she opened for Antibalas during their residency at Brooklyn Bowl. While leading an 8-piece band, iDA debuted several new songs, many of which will be included on her debut solo album.

“She’s like Wonder Girl, man! I tell you what. She’s so absolutely positive. She makes me believe in the soul of the music,” says her pal GRiZ.

iDA is releasing her debut single and video "Out of Focus" (2017) this spring, with an EP to follow.
